Applications

This insert supports cutting speeds from 115 to 656 sfm, feeds ranging from 0.005 to 0.018 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.217 in. These parameters enable robust continuous to general cutting operations with high material removal rates. The 1/32″ nose radius balances surface finish and edge strength for versatile production use. Ideal for machining ISO groups S05-S15 (HRSA/Titanium) primarily, with secondary suitability for M10-M20 (Stainless steel) and H05-H10 (Hardened steel). Its negative rake chipbreaker and robust edge make it well-suited for medium to rough turning and facing, including interrupted cuts, but it is not recommended for precision finishing or profiling.
