Applications

This CNMG insert supports cutting speeds from 361 to 755 sfm, feeds ranging 0.011 to 0.024 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.256 in. It is designed for general to interrupted cutting, accommodating medium to rough turning and facing operations. It is suitable for ISO material groups P30-P35 (steel) primarily, with secondary capability in M20-M30 (stainless steel), K30 (cast iron), and S15-S25 (HRSA/titanium). The negative rake chipbreaker and 80° diamond shape provide excellent edge strength and performance in interrupted cuts but are not intended for precision finishing or profiling.
