Applications

This insert supports cutting speeds from 361 to 755 sfm, feeds between 0.010 and 0.024 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.197 in. It is designed for general to interrupted cutting with a maximum depth of cut of 0.197 in. It is suitable primarily for ISO groups P30-P35 (steel) and secondarily for M20-M30 (stainless steel), K30 (cast iron), and S15-S25 (HRSA/Titanium). Its negative rake chipbreaker and 80° diamond shape provide excellent performance in roughing and interrupted cuts, especially in steel and cast iron applications.
