Cutting speeds range from 525 to 984 sfm with feeds between 0.004 and 0.016 in/rev. Depths of cut vary from 0.020 to 0.059 in, with 0.059 in as the maximum recommended ap. This insert is designed for general cutting operations. It is optimized for ISO P20-P25 steel materials. The negative rake chipbreaker and 35° diamond shape support profiling, copy turning, and contouring of complex shapes. Due to its negative rake and chipbreaker design, this insert is not suitable for interrupted cutting or roughing but excels in continuous finishing and semi-finishing cuts.
