Applications

This insert supports cutting speeds from 361 to 755 sfm, feeds from 0.008 to 0.028 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.394 in. It is designed for general to interrupted cutting operations, offering robust performance in demanding conditions. It is suitable primarily for ISO P30-P35 steel and secondarily for M20-M30 stainless steel, K30 cast iron, and S15-S25 HRSA/titanium. The negative rake chipbreaker and 80° diamond shape provide excellent edge strength and durability, making it ideal for medium to rough turning and facing with interrupted cuts on steel and cast iron materials.
