This insert supports cutting speeds from 427 to 820 sfm, feeds from 0.002 to 0.012 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.197 in. It is designed for general to interrupted cutting with medium to low speed roughing. It is suitable for ISO material groups P25-P35 (steel) and M25-M35 (stainless steel). The negative rake chipbreaker and 80° diamond shape provide excellent edge strength and durability, making it ideal for interrupted cuts and roughing operations in these materials.
