Applications

Cutting speeds range from 427 to 820 sfm, feeds from 0.009 to 0.014 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.142 in. This insert supports general to interrupted cutting at medium to low speeds, with a maximum depth of cut of 0.142 in. It is designed primarily for ISO P25-P35 steel and secondarily for M25-M35 stainless steel. The positive rake chipbreaker and 80° diamond shape provide good edge strength and contouring ability, making it suitable for medium to light interrupted cuts and roughing operations in these materials.
