Manual Screw Threading Made Simple with Rushmore HSS Plug Hand Taps. Rushmore USA Plug Hand Taps are available in machine screw sizes and fractional sizes. Various models are available in two-flute design in machine screw size #0 & #1 and H1/H2 thread limits; three-flute design in machine screw sizes #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, and H1/H2/H3 thread limits; four-flute design in machine screw sizes #8, #10 and #12 and H1/H2/H3 thread limits. Various models are also available in fractional sizes ranging from 1/4 inch to 1-1/2 inches and four-flute design. Special six-flute design plug hand taps are available in fractional sizes 1-1/4 inches, 1-3/8 inches, 1-1/2 inches. The square shank is provided to fit well into tap wrenches. The high-speed steel tool material and grounded threads ensure superior performance at high speeds. The threads are formed in the right-hand (clockwise) cutting direction.
