Applications

This WNMG433-GR insert supports cutting depths of up to 4.0 mm and feed rates from 0.15 to 0.35 mm/rev, suitable for semi-finishing to medium machining. Its medium nose radius of 3/64″ balances edge strength and surface finish for moderate feeds and light interrupted cuts. It is designed primarily for ISO P and ISO K materials, focusing on steel and cast iron. The negative rake chipbreaker and 80° trigon shape make it ideal for high-production rough-to-medium OD turning and facing, but it is not suitable for boring, profiling, or copy turning operations.
