Applications

This insert supports cutting speeds from 115 to 656 sfm, feeds from 0.003 to 0.006 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.039 in. These parameters suit continuous to general cutting operations. It is designed for use in light to moderate depth cuts with fine feed rates to optimize surface finish. The PC8110 grade targets ISO groups S05-S15 (HRSA/Titanium) primarily, with secondary suitability for M10-M20 (Stainless steel) and H05-H10 (Hardened steel). Its positive rake geometry and continuous cutting application make it ideal for finishing and semi-finishing in these materials, but it is not recommended for heavy interrupted cuts or roughing.
